Humalog

Humalog (Insulin) is a hormone that works by reducing glucose (sugar) levels in the blood. Humalog is a fast-acting insulin that starts working about 15 minutes after injection, peaks in about 1 hour, and continues to work for 2 to 4 hours. Insulin is used to improve blood sugar control in adults and children with diabetes mellitus. Insulin is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults, or type 1 diabetes in adults and children who are at least 3 years old.
