Tirzepatide is used with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. It lowers blood sugar by causing the release of your body's natural insulin and decreasing the amount of sugar your liver makes.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) “I have learned to manage side effects (constipation) with probiotics. This is the only thing that has allowed me to lose the weight I gained post-menopause. I was a size 22 and am now almost a size 10. My BMI went from 39 to just over 30, and I have about 25 more pounds to go. I lost 45 pounds currently. I am no longer taking medication for migraines, asthma, and chronic edema, and my BP medication has been reduced by half.”

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) “I am an African American female 58yrs old 5’8” weighed an unbelievable 270lbs 12/30/22 I asked my doctor could I take this medication and now here we are. 8 weeks later. I currently weigh 244.6 lbs , I lost 16lbs in the first 3 weeks . I was extremely shocked and a little worried. My health is constant concern, I suffer from chronic allergies and frequently took steroids shots to manage the problem but, brought on weight gain. I am feeling better about my self I am honestly trying to make this a life change. As far as the first day after each shot I am exceptionally tired and I experienced redness at the injection sight once not sure why but, so far so good. No headaches, no vomiting slight constipation. I am attempting to make this a life change better food selections and exercise regiments to keep me on track.”

Yes I lost weight, but I experienced bladder problems. I had less control over my bladder and would constantly need to go to the bathroom. It also led to issues in the bedroom. I took the meds for 2 weeks before deciding to stop. About 5 days later those negative symptoms went away

My insurance would no longer pay for Victoza. As soon as I went off of it, I gained 15 pounds, Very frustrating, especially since my A1C went from 7.3 to 8.2 also. Doc started me on the .75 dose of Trulicity. I was pleased that other than some mild digestive issues and fatigue for the first month, I had no horrific side effects. It also had no effect whatsoever on my BS, A1C or weight! After five months, Doc doubled the dose to 1.75/week. Still no big stomach or intestinal issues, unless I eat something super rich or fatty. You will absolutely pay a physical price if you don’t pay attention to your fat intake with this drug. The other thing is that I’m having to overcome that crushing fatigue again, hoping it eases soon, trying to take power-naps when possible. But my sugar numbers are awesome, and I’m sticking with Trulicity for that reason.”

A very good product, comfortable to use in public, and the option to set the right dosage is extremally useful. I think, now I won’t switch back to the syringes like…ever 😅
